Manassas is, of course, a city that has a rich history and was a significantly important place during the American Civil War era. Many people are familiar with the Manassas National Battlefield Park, as it is a popular destination for visitors and residents to visit while in the area. This National Park is the place to go to learn more about the first land battle that occurred during the Civil War, the First Battle of Bull Run, also referred to as the Battle of First Manassas.

Lastly, ARTfactory is a unique venue that provides a place for theatre interests, dance, and visual arts. ARTfactory is home to a lovely art gallery called the Caton Merchant Family Gallery, where you can enjoy displays of local and regional artists. Located at 9419 Battle Street, visitors can enjoy one of the ARTfactory special events, workshops, or classes, too. There is also a gift shop at this museum where you can peruse a variety of unique and whimsical gifts for friends and family on your list.
